Personally, I feel they are pretty useful on my 5G6. Hong Kong is hot, and my 5G6 is not stable according lost power on overheat motor after few minutes flying. After installed the heat sinks on both motors, my 5G6 does not have such problem any more. By the way, it is not necessary to remove any screw on motor. Just adjust the heat sink and put it on motor.
